The preliminary program for the 15th International Scientific and Technical Conference “From imagery to map: digital photogrammetriс technologies” is announced.
About the conference
The role of remote sensing and photogrammetric technologies is constantly increasing. Therefore, each new conference that is devoted to this topic truly becomes a marquee event.
Every year our conference brings together the best specialists of the field from dozens of countries and provides them excellent opportunities for professional communication and discussion. Permanent participants of the Conference are such leading companies in the remote sensing field as DigitalGlobe (USA), Airbus Defence and Space (EU), enterprises of the Federal Space Agency (Russia), SCANEX R&D Center (Russia), Hexagon (Sweden), Microsoft/Vexcel (Austria), and VisionMap (Israel). The use of satellite and aerial surveys is presented by industry leaders such as FSUE Roslesinforg (Russia), JSC Roscartography (Russia), Gazprom VNIIGAZ (Russia), KazGeoCosmos (Kazakhstan), Eurosense (Belgium), Leibniz University Hannover (Germany), MapWorldTechnologies (India), and many others.
One of the most important features of the conference is its rich program. First of all, its scientific program — during the sections and round tables you can discuss serious scientific problems. Such internationally known professors as Gottfried Konecny, Armin Gruen, Christian Heipke, and others attend the conference every year.
Participation in the conference will give a great opportunity for researchers to keep abreast of the latest technological trends that determine the development of the field. That, in turn, will allow timely decisions on the use of certain technologies.
No less important is the business part of the conference. Suppliers of technologies and geospatial data will have an opportunity to present their developments to potential users and to conclude contracts.
For specialists in the geoinformation field it is very important to exchange information with colleagues from other countries. The conference will allow you to meet specialists from diverse countries and discuss all of your questions.
Certainly, the social part of the conference will not be forgotten. Organizers pay great attention to the social part of the conference and prepare many interesting events for participants. Based on the experience of previous conferences, there is no doubt that this will be a very interesting, vivid, and memorable event. We hope you will take part in the upcoming 16th conference.
Sincerely yours,
the Organizing Committee of
the International Scientific and Technical Conference
